it doesn't work with jQuery 1.7.1 either, but then again, the Read Me clearly states that jQuery is only supported up until version 1.6.1.

It helped me in some kind of situations where this great library couldn't help

Yeah unfortunately I have it avoiding these types of animations as a lot of them rely on $.fx.step, which isn't supported yet.
Closing this issue, as this is picked up in issue #81
