This seems to work for me in Chrome 11. I would imagine Chrome in beta will have issues with the CSS3 transitions, rather than it being a plugin issue.
Have you tried the animation with straight CSS3 instead of with the plugin?

Hi, yeah I'm experiencing the same issue. Seems to be the latest version of Chrome which now automatically enables hardware acceleration. This would happen in version 11 but only when you manually configured Chrome to use hardware acceleration.
I'm looking at a solution as well, will let you know if I find anything!

Hmm yeah, I am too now I'm on Chrome 12. Thanks in advance for any solutions you might come across! I'll have a look too.

One thing is that the playground demo still works on v12: http://playground.benbarnett.net/jquery-animate-enhanced/

Please can you try this again with the latest release?

I had an issue with this when doing a jQuery animate on a specific div (after it was animated multiple times, it's a sequential animation). The issue happened in Safari 5.0 and on iOS 5 / iPad 2 (it did not happen on iOS4 / iPad 1, unfortunately I don't have access to a first gen iPad with iOS5 to test on).
Adding avoidTransforms: true to that one animate call (which animated top and left) solved the issue. I wish I could share the code for you to test with but unfortunately it'll be hard to strip out of all client-identifiable items, but just thought I'd share.
(By the way, thank you for an awesome plugin.)
