$(el).is(':animated') not reporting about jquery-animate-enhanced HOT 5 CLOSED

Any chance that this is going to be fixed? I'm using jquery tools scrollable (http://flowplayer.org/tools/index.html) on iOS devices and try to improve the animation experience with jquery-animate-enhanced, however, due to the missing :animated filter, scrolling is broken.

Unfortunately the fix is not working on an iphone (it works on ipad though). I've found out, that this isn't working as the
transitionEndEvent is bound in an setTimeout callback:

setTimeout(function() {
self.bind(transitionEndEvent, cssCallback).css(secondary);
});

However, if i remove the setTimeout() call and bind the transitionEndEvent directly, then this is working on the iphone as well. So there seems to be a timing problem with setting the transitionEndEvent a bit later.
Is it possible to remove the setTimeout() to make it working in all situations on an iphone as well?
