I'm still having issues with fadeIn() and fadeOut(). Specifically calling fadeIn after a fadeOut. I haven't had a lot of time to look into the issue, maybe next week.

I think the way its set up right now it will only work for display: block elements. I'm guessing it is failing for you with an inline element. It really needs to somehow cache the display property so it can bring it back on a fadeIn().

I am animating a block element, but fadeOut sets the style to display:none after the animation; so maybe that is related?
