Agreed on this one, really limits what you can do with this plugin.

+1! I am actually going to try to implement it myself right now.
[edit] well, I started working on it but it's too fragile. Too many pixel based calculations. I'm just going to borrow the css3 detections and implement the transitions directly :'(

+1 for percentage support. Makes responsive design difficult without.

I don’t know whether +1s are helping, but if they are, +1 particularly to it inhibiting responsive design.
