Footnotes are not displayed correctly at the bottom of PDF page. Footnotes run into text:

Adding to this issue:

Expected behaviour
footnotempdf
When citation information is added via the FN (footnotes) button in Pressbooks, I expect to see the following in mPDF format (this matches current Prince behaviour as shown in the above screenshot):

  1. A superscript number marks the spot where the footnote refers to.
  2. Footnotes are numbered in the order they appear in a chapter. Footnote numbers reset in each chapter.
  3. The footnote itself appears at the bottom of the page where it appears. The footnote text has a number that matches with the superscript number.
