That's a big Dockerfile. Maybe there are issues with your mounts on the remote builder you're trying to use. I'd start by debugging this with a local build. Then maybe simplify your Dockerfile to something ala what's in Rails: https://github.com/rails/rails/blob/6d7b42fc5378d9e251adc69945e2696dcd3c29b8/railties/lib/rails/generators/rails/app/templates/Dockerfile.tt.
Anyway, getting Docker to build your image is outside the scope of MRSK, unless you're sure that the image builds successfully locally first. Feel free to ask for this to be reopened if you arrive there.

yup, you are right. got a brand new Dockerfile with bin/rails generate dockerfile and it is compiling just fine now.
