Seems like we can't reuse http:native due to following reasons-

The builders in the http repo does two things. Byte streaming and data binding. In our case since we receive the body as a string, we have no use for that. If we were to use reuse the library, the utils needs to be refactored accordingly to do only data binding.

We get class not found error when we import http:native as a dependency. For some reason it tries to find the a class called Start upon startup. Probably related to netty resources implementation.
However, I've took the classes tweaked into our requirements and implemented the payload support.
