Cannot cabal-install pandoc-csv2table on Debian Jessie about pandoc-csv2table HOT 9 CLOSED

It doesn't work (yet?). I did cabal update ; cabal install pandoc-csv2table. Message is as before:

I changed this base>=4.7 && <4.9 to this base>=4.6 && <4.9 but you are
still seeing the old one. Maybe cabal update again, wait a little and
then try installing it.

Ouch... there is a new issue now (beyond YOUR influence):

cabal ist /usr/bin/cabal

Downloading the latest package list from hackage.haskell.org
cabal: does not exist

I'll wait a bit longer...

Now, ~2 hours later, syncing my cabal package list with hackage worked again for me.

But there is still the old base>=4.7 && <4.9 rejecting message.

Maybe your update didn't make it into hackage?.

Turns out I had to change the version constraint at another place too. It
should work now.
