@martinheppner : correct me if I am wrong but all our calls on the UAT / PROD actually use "server/server" , so we need to only limit the rate at this juncture ?

You mean we limit the rate only one time and one place in server.js? Sounds smart to me. But I haven't got any experience with this topic.

related to #47, if we get limit alerts we should improve on it, for now this should be the general solution
