Simulation of Signal Coverage for Terahertz Communications
This project considers the OMNeTpp simulation tool and the Castalia 3.0 framework. The communication protocol used was IEEE 802.15.4 and adaptations were made to simulate the IEEE 802.15.4e protocol in LLDN mode. The simulation considers a relay selection technique, named Optimized Relay Selection Technique - ORST, the technique was modeled as a set cover problem and solved with the branch and bound algorithm, using the lpSolve library.
