You should not assign the class using var/let:

class BaseView {...}
module.exports = BaseView

will work

from babel.

ClassExpression isn't currently supported. I'll push out a fix soon.

var BaseView = function () {
  function BaseView() {
    this.autoRender = true;
  }
  return BaseView;
}();
module.exports = BaseView;

The traceur compiler wouldn't create the var, so I assumed that's just how things needed to be.

I like not having to explicitly say var foo = class Foo.
