@aws-solutions-constructs/aws-dynamodbstreams-lambda - filters in dynamoEventSourceProps when passed is missing in the synthesized template about aws-solutions-constructs HOT 2 CLOSED

If I pass the filters attribute as below, it seems to work. Not sure if this is a CDK construct issue or AWS Solutions Construct issue.

                filters: [
                    lambda.FilterCriteria.filter({
                        userIdentity: {
                            type: lambda.FilterRule.isEqual('Service'),
                            principalId: lambda.FilterRule.isEqual('dynamodb.amazonaws.com')
                        }
                    })
                ]

Most likely its the CDK library.

The root cause is not a construct issue, rather CDK issue where filters does not work if directly supplied with Pattern. Rather it requires that FilterCriteria.filter be used instead.
