I think most of us agree that the Amazon UX is ideal ✅ Passwords when registering should always require confirmation input.

Hello all, confirm password feature is implemented and shipped by default on our next version of authenticator available on next dist-tag.

Please try this out and let us know with any feedback you have!

This would be quite useful. Very odd that it's not there. It would be massively preferable to have a confirm PW field (like every other website in the world), and then not require the user to re-login after they verify their email

Are we ever going to get an update on whether or not this is going to be done?

I have been trying to develop this as I wanted to use it in some projects, but I am unable to test it locally using Angular 11 in my sample app, trying to link projects and it fails somehow.

I wanted to make it optional by adding a boolean as input in the Authenticator component and all of the ones that have a password field.

I have modified auth and aws-amplify-angular packages initially, but I have noticed that the inputs are proxied from the react component, so I have put it as props as well.

I am not able to test it locally as I try to build all packages and link them locally I get some errors as the following:

Error: D:/code/amplify-js/packages/amplify-ui-angular/ivy_ngcc/dist/fesm5.js 1167:186-210
"export 'ɵɵdirectiveInject' (imported as 'ɵngcc0') was not found in '@angular/core'

Could someone give me a hint?
