The developed Banking Application for Goliath National Bank is a multi-component Client-Server networking application which consists a User interface for the Client and a bank server which processes all the banking functions. The server is no ordinary server but a multithreaded server which allows multiple clients to connect and do their operations through the server concurrently which saves the customers from wasting their time being in a queue. While customers are allowed to perform all basic banking functions such as making deposits, performing withdrawals and transferring money to specific bank accounts through the Client component of the application the server validates the requests, processes them and gives appropriate feedback to the customers. The server also has the functionality to credit interest to all bank accounts as well as debit banking charges from all accounts. The server also can manage the connected the clients and disconnect a client at any given time.

But the image editing application designed and developed for this particular assignments stand out from the rest in many ways. The users are presented with the option to perform many actions on up to four different images at the same type. The Task parallel library introduced in .NET framework 4.0 and data parallelism techniques are used in order to give the users this luxury and improve the responsiveness of the application.
