ac-quick-help is not working on manual invocation about auto-complete HOT 7 CLOSED

The popup color differs though for ac-quick-help and ac-last-quick-help.

I have

(set-face-attribute 'popup-tip-face nil :background "DodgerBlue4" :foreground "plum1")
(set-face-attribute 'popup-tip-face nil :background "gray15" :foreground "linen")

and ac-quick-help takes account of it, but ac-quick-help-last displays a white background.

To fix it I need to fix the pos-tip background, like:

(setq pos-tip-foreground-color "plum1")
(setq pos-tip-background-color "DodgerBlue4")

If you use pos-tip extension instead of popup, you need configure pos-tip as you did. This is not a flaw anyway.

Both ac-quick-help and ac-quick-help-last use pos-tip, but ac-quick-help uses popup-tip-face but ac-quick-help-last uses pos-tip faces. This is inconsistent. Not a big deal anyhow, but took me some time to figure it out and is slightly confusing.

I'm still running into this of quick help cannot be manually invoked.

What should I have in my .emacs? If I used what's provided by OP, i.e.

(define-key ac-completing-map (kbd "M-h") 'ac-quick-help t)

emacs complains that there are too many arguments.

If I use

(define-key ac-completing-map (kbd "M-h") 'ac-quick-help)

then M-h is not rebound.
