Thanks for the tip! I fixed a bug that should make it run smoothly in Firefox now as well, so I might modify the comment recommending Chrome.

I thought I'd mention it because, even for savvy users, it's not at all obvious that it's the specific combination of browser + OS + specific hardware bugging, rather than your application.

This bug is limited, as far as I know, to "late 2013" MacBook Airs. Support has come and gone in Chrome over the months; I suspect the underlying OS API might not be stable in Mavericks (as Chrome had it fixed for OS X 10.8 back in September).

It does! That's how I got it to work. (I have the problematic model in question.)

No Safari, though (no getUserMedia()).
