CMake with MSVC setup for debug mode about fastnoise2 HOT 2 CLOSED

If you want to use add_compile_options(/MTd) you'd need to also set it on the FastNoise project. Or remove it so they match

Although I don't think add_compile_options(/MTd) is doing what you think it is, it defines how the code links to the C runtime. It doesn't affect how libraries like FastNoise are linked

from fastnoise2.

ALL RIGHT, fixed that 🎉. So it seems that I've needed to add this line:

cmake_minimum_required (VERSION 3.15) # The var CMAKE_MSVC_RUNTIME_LIBRARY is available from the 3.15 version

And actually what happened is that other libraries are linked statically and the MSVC RunTime is linked also. It's a dll file and therefore it required this configuration. Might be quite useful for someone who could be struggling with that.
