I got it to work via a container someone else published (https://hub.docker.com/r/stuartlynn/attendize) but couldnt get it to work via the native.
Wondering where support is? I was thinking about buying a licnese but if theres 0 support then why bother.

Yah, support has vanished on this project.
Suggest forking and fix issues as you run into them.
The composer.lock file is a mess. Requires so many different versions of php alone!
The base version of Laravel is way behind as well. It would be quite the project to clean this one up.

Unfortunately not knowledgeable enough to fix, i don't even know where the issue stems from. Currently i simply cannot get the native to work either via docker or via direct install.
