Is there a way to set something like "never sell under buy price" option? about gekko HOT 1 CLOSED

Right now you can only configure EMA which is a trend watching method, if you follow this advice you don't care about at what prices you changed your position (bought or sold) but when a trend is changing. The logic is pretty simple:

• If there is an upwards trend and you buy now, you can sell whenever the trend is not going up anymore (and end up with more $ than you started out with).
• If there is an downwards trend and you sell now, you can buy whenever the trend is not going down anymore (and end up with more BTC then you started with).

The hard part is figuring out trends that are in the future.

If you only sold when in profit you could end up ignoring all the trends (imagine buying in at 900$), instead of getting some loss back your would still be holding on to your coins stubbornly.

You can implement a new method besides EMA which behaves the way you want, you can take a look at how to implement a method by looking at the EMA example.
