Performance on lower end machines about artisan HOT 2 CLOSED

I've now tested this with a TC4C as well and see the same issue.

I ran process mon, to see what artisan was doing while eating all my CPU, I'm 
not sure if it is the source of the problem but I see it reading a .ttf file 
maybe 500-1000 times every sampling interval. I assume this is for drawing the 
text on the GUI.

I found that generally every sample interval artisan spends about 3-4 seconds 
performing this reads of the .ttf, which lines up with the application not 
updating in real time (being clunky) at a sampling interval of <3-4 seconds

As mentioned I'm not sure it is the cause of my issue on lower end machines but 
it seemed a bit excessive and at the very least shows the drawing of the GUI 
seems to be the time where all my CPU cycles are used

This seems to be a Windows only version caused by some of the libraries (most 
properly matplotlib). We will see if newer versions fix this. However, Artisan 
will remain resource demanding by design. Setting a higher sampling interval 
say 5s and deactivating the drawing of events should help.
