Which S3 methods precisely do you need? GET Bucket versioning (http://docs.amazonwebservices.com/AmazonS3/latest/API/RESTBucketGETversioningStatus.html)?

Very likely, the AWS library does not yet support the S3 method that you need. The best way to go about this would be if you could implement the methods you need, and send us a pull request. I'd also be more than willing to help you with that task.

Regarding your S3Query question: Yes, this is likely what you want to change, but you really should do this inside the SignQuery instance of the request type. So for example for GetObject, you'd add a new field "goVersionId" or so to GetObject, and add it to the list of query fields in its SignQuery instance. (For GetBucket, you'd optimally create a whole new Request/Response type pair, because "Get Bucket versioning" is a different operation than "Get Bucket (list objects)" in the AWS documentation.)

I think I'll add versionID to GetObject myself now.

It turns out that you need to use s3QSubresource, not s3QQuery for the signature to work, but now at least GetObject supports versions. :)
