python-fenics-dolfinx: Import Statement fails to Work due to Missing Dependencies. about arch4edu HOT 2 CLOSED

Hi @stefano-tronci thanks for reporting this. Looks like a case of automagic dependencies.

Let me do some tests when hypre, suitesparse, fftw, scotch are installed before compile dolfinx and his bindings.

I will update here. Right now is little difficult to test because newer and older version of petsc are failling and numba too, but we can get useful info about the list of packages mentioned above.

Hi @stefano-tronci, for use petsc4py module (a dependency for python-fenics-dolfinx) require have installed petsc and their makedependencies (scotch, hypre, suitesparse, mumps, fftw and triangle), and be sourced /etc/profile.d/petsc.sh.

Please, try a look. In this opportunity all the packages named above are related for petsc.
After recompile dolfinx a few days ago because a bump version PETSc, dolfinx is working fine from my side.
