I like the option to quickly show the next airport plates but it would be nice to be able to browse them with changing destination. Maybe offer the second option as a button: browse all airports

Hi Damccull.
At the present time there are many options to get the Plate / s, see some of the options below. The one thing we need is a quick efficient way to get to the most likely needed Plate on the first press, and be able to choose more than 1 if not exactly what you want, maybe 3?. If you press Near you can pick the airport close to you , if you press Find you can get any plate / airport. in your data baseTV

Plate / s Operation, in ver.5.3.8.
Plates present logic / flow.
No Active Plan> Press plate> Must go find enter name
Airport / Destination>or Near and choose> Plate loads Multiple presses?.
Time consuming.
If Active Plan> press plate will show present Active /
part of the Plan location (Start airport?)> get close to second airport /
past the first airport / waypoint > Plate displays second etc. Cannot go
back to former / previous without going to Find / Near.

If No Active Plan and select Destination (Press and Hold add
to destination)> Plate displays Destination cannot see present airport (i.e.
Start Sna enter LGB as Destination)
If No active Plan no Destination>Plate prompts for Find.
Plate>Near>Tap airport>Plate displays.

Some notes on the new plates code as of 2/18/2014.

Any long press on an airport with plates should include a plates button, clicking on that button will display the Plates tab with the selected airport.
There is a new preference to auto show airport diagram on rollout.  If this is selected, the airport diagram will be displayed when the aircraft slows to 40 knots on rollout (if currently on the maps tab).
The list of airports on the Plates tab is populated with the following (in order, assuming they have plates):
Selected airport
Nearest airport
Destination airport
Airports in the current plan
All airports in the recent list (from the Find tab)
