You might say "well, don't switch modes while apps are running" but:
- every other Mac app adjusts properly, and
- macOS has a setting that changes dark/light mode automatically throughout the day (for example, light mode during the day and dark mode at night); users opting for this setting may be particularly annoyed by this bug.

As far as I understand, this behavior is baked into the windowing toolkit AppleCommander uses (SWT). All I've got is that if you use the flagship product (Eclipse), it also recommends you restart the application after changing themes.

Do you mean that this is an SWT bug that should be reported to them?
Unfortunately, I see they use Bugzilla, which is difficult to use.
