Thanks for getting back @jthomas. I understand that this is currently not a priority. We ended up a manually transpiling it in the end.

@roele Hello 👋, thanks for raising this issue.
This library does make liberal use of ES6 features throughout the code base. It was primarily built for recent Node.js runtimes. It's great that people can use this from browser-based runtimes but it's not been a common request. At the moment, it's not a priority to either downgrade the library to only ES5 features or include a transpilation step back to ES5.
I'm marking this as wontfix for now. If more people request this more often in future, we'll re-consider this issue.
Have you thought about transpiling it manually to resolve your issue?
