The N gets added to prevent errors as some objects cannot start with a number.

This is because interface names, like all identifiers in TypeScript (and JavaScript), must follow certain naming conventions. According to these conventions, identifiers must start with a letter (a-z or A-Z), an underscore (_), or a dollar sign ($). They cannot start with a number.

Yes, try to remove the N from your regex:
return name.replace(/^\d+\./, '');

Yes, try to remove the N from your regex: return name.replace(/^\d+./, '');

Sorry I am not sure what you mean here.

I tried to update the function to

const cleanName = name => {
  if (typeof name === 'string') {
    // Ensure the name does not start with a number
    if (/^\d/.test(name)) {
      return `N${name}`;
    }
    // Remove a numeric prefix followed by a dot
    return name.replace(/^\d+\./, '');
  }
  return name;
};

but the result is exactly the same.

During the debug process, I thought "Am I putting the override in the right place?"
Should it really be in the output? Or should it be in the input?

Thanks for the help
