Great news! :-)))
I downloaded it immediately: it is beautiful! And I know it will be even
more easy to read than it already was.
I have some good news for you too:
- My school board installed Open Dyslexic in all the computers of all the
schools last year. - Your police is more and more used by our educational consultants to
create teaching material for children with learning disabilities. - For the remedial teachers of my school board, the Alta version will be
our "official" police as soon as it will be ready! :-)
Our consultant knows I am in touch with you and she is only waiting for my
signal to make the move! In the meantime, what would be the best way to
show her the new regular version without installing it?
My second game is already in production, so it will have the same Alta
version as my first one. (It's better this way, my games go by pairs!) But
I hope to use the new Alta for the next games to come! There will be two
more boardgames like the first two, then 8 playcard games. All of this
material is for children with learning disabilities or other special needs,
and the little money I will get from it will go to PANDA, an organization
that helps families cope with ADHD. If you wish to tell about these games
on your website, I can prepare you some pictures and explanations about it
someday. The only thing that would be a downer is that it is french stuff
made in Quebec, so maybe not very interesting for american readers...
I have a question that I hope is not too irrelevant! I still have older
versions of Open Dyslexic on my computer, and I noticed that the older one
seems "blurred". Did you correct it when you started all over again, so
the "blurred" version is still the one to download from DaFont, or it was
corrected before you move? I don't know if you keep the DaFont version
updated, because I got all the updates directly from you after my first
download! ;-)
Thank you again for all the great work you do! This project is admirable,
and I wish I can help you to spread it on this part of the continent!
