Happy to contribute, but what are the expectations? Simply to be listed, or is there some expectation for continual maintenance and/or adherence to consistent specs between different projects?
from clippercard.
No real expectations right now, just being listed as a resource for your library. I've forked it over there, if you wanted it part of the org we could do that. I'd be happy to add you as an owner and you'd pretty much have the exact same rights as you do now, but would be a more centralized location for people to find it.
I'm primarily a node.js developer, and I know specs and maintenance can vary wildy between different languages. Whatever you're comfortable with assisting would be spectacular.
I also want to pull together interested people to maybe send a letter off to MTC for their 2019 proposal of the clipper card. The bigger the developer backing, the more response they'll have, I figure.

Collaboration
- Happy to be listed as the Python implementation
- I'm more comfortable if we keep my repo as-is right now, and having your current org just maintaining a fork. I'm not knowledgeable about any potential unintended consequences of Transferring a repository. However, I am open to this in theory.
MTC Contacts
Due to the publication of my lib, I have already been contacted by these individuals at the Metropolitan Transportation Commission
- Stephen Abbanat
- John Goodwin
So far they have been cordial. I believe it's worth starting a dialogue with them before finalizing a public letter so we understand what their technical constraints are and therefore can ask for realistic things.

Sweet! Thank you so much for that! I'll try to get in contact with Steven and/or John and see what they think about all this. I've added you as an owner to the clippercard group, so you can add/remove/push to whatever you like there. I'm cool just forking for the time being, if you do want to move it over, lemme know, it pretty much acts the same way as a personal repo, so long as you are an owner of the group (which you are now). Just a different bin it's put in.

I've accepted. I have limited time these days to deep dive into this project, as I've already solved my own use case, but will be happy to tinker around and contribute as time permits. Obviously if MTC becomes more technically friendly to work with, then this project would be more exciting to work on.
