~$ whoami?

🏒 I am a Cloud Solution Architect Cyber Security working at Microsoft

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦β€πŸ‘¦ I am a Dad to two young boys and husband to the most patient woman in the world. I am a tech geek, and avid gamer. I love reading fantasy novels, camping, drinking whiskey and eating delicous food.

πŸ’› I am driven by the need to leave a positive change in the peoples lives around me, I feel good when I leave a room better than when I arrived (be it virtual or physical).

🎧 Music is life.

πŸ™ I spent half my career as an educator teaching IT Networking, Administration and Security. The job was amazing and nourished my soul, I actively look for opportunities to continue to do this and frequently mentor my peers at work and friends.

🎭 I'm looking for opportunities to volunteer in environments that I can grow my skills and give back to the broader community. I have experience with governance of organisations at national level down to managing/organising volunteers and activities.

β€œImpossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
