When the application is run on HTC Magic 1.5 a blank screen is shown and after a while, force close is given about andar HOT 7 CLOSED

on line 54 it fails to set the previewdisplay, which is something that has only 
to be 
done on 1.5 devices.
i shifted that code to the surfaceCreated method.
could you try if that works. I attached an apk of that version.

Thanks, but it's giving me the same problem. The blank screen hangs for a 
couple of 
seconds, and after a while force close appears.

I think it has to do with issue 12, just an assumption though
