on looks like an event emitter API, especially as the result of chaining. In speech, you'd say "RouteConfig for MyComponent" not "RouteConfig on MyComponent."

I get that this is a POC and I don't want to waste your time (too much). The a / at thing was a bikeshed joke.
But the for thing is a real issue for me because some annotations "describe" a thing rather than simply provide additional metadata. For example: @Injectable or @CONST
