@shuvashish76 Ah, it's listed in the toy shop – well, my very own extractor took care for that beautifully, thanks! It's now live in my repo. Once Andriy is back (hopefully healthy and well), we can see how to proceed with F-Droid.org then.

What are the differences between these two browsers?
Don't be misled by the repository name. It's not a Bonjour browser, it's a service browser i.e. it allows exploring all the services available in your Android device.

Is it still maintained?
This app does not really require much maintenance. The mDNS technology hasn't changed in many years and is not likely going to change.
The app has been in Google Play Store for many years, but not on F-Droid. Therefore, I've raised the issue for those who still believe F-Droid to be place where people can often find hidden gems.
That being said, this app is mostly intended for developers (for debugging purposes) and those who knows what these services actually are. I assume not many people will need this software, and it's not certainly an app that's going to be used frequently.
So what are e.g. the chances to get Fastlane structures established so we can have some screenshots – or that problems users are experiencing getting attention?
If @andriydruk is unwilling to setup fastlane structures, a forked version could be used instead.

Another app with same name available on F-Droid : https://www.f-droid.org/packages/de.wellenvogel.bonjourbrowser/ (https://github.com/wellenvogel/BonjourBrowser)

Is it still maintained? The last release is almost 2 years old now, and the last commit about 1 year, issues are unanswered for almost 3 years now. So what are e.g. the chances to get Fastlane structures established so we can have some screenshots – or that problems users are experiencing getting attention? F-Droid usually can't invest time to set up "dead bones"

Thanks for your insights, @MuntashirAkon! I was chiming in here because inclusion was requested for my repo. If you say it's useful and there are some metadata that could be provided (ideally including screenshots), I'd then accept that request.

Let's wait for some time in case the author is available for a reply.

Hi guys,
Due to the Russian army's invasion of Ukraine and bombarding my hometown almost every day I can't support this project anymore
I archive my open-source projects including this one
Feel free to fork it and maintain it on your own
Best regards,
Andrew Druk
