needs to be modified to an enhancement .. couldn't find the option here. sorry!

We should set up action based displays in 2.0, and split off actions from  on 
screen notifications.

The example you give is clearly a better use case for folder actions. It is not 
a use case for a notification system.

Combined with the fact that Growl is going to require sandboxing making most 
use cases of apple scripting beyond useless, and I cannot see us implementing 
this. As such I am closing it.

However, I'll keep this in mind. If there comes a time where we can do 
something like have an applescript action, I still think this would be useful.
