There is certain difference in way git and jgit handle .gitignore and behavior you observe is the result of it. I added printing changes jgit sees so you don't have to guess what's wrong (see #25). Possible options are:
- make
jgitconsistent withgitfor all cases - change
.gitignorefile so it behaves same way for both tools
Either way, i'm afraid it's out of scope of axion-release.

I updated version of Grgit and JGit in 1.2.2 version.
