[IOS] unable to save about fallout2-ce HOT 3 OPEN

I am having the same issue on iOS (on an iPad). Everything else works great but when attempting to save I get the "Error saving game! Unable to save game." error. I've tried dropping a pre-created save game into the data folder using iTunes (I'm using a windows device to transfer) to see if overwriting the existing savegame would fix it but I get the same error (I can load that savegame, however).

I saw the discussion on #338, however, I'm not sure how to implement the suggested fix that ghost and defname suggest.

I also downloaded the game from GOG, which I noticed in #330 davidchisnall notes contains an incorrect symlink. Unfortunately, I don't know what that means or how to fix it so would welcome any suggestions or advice.

Hey so I think I found a solution. I deleted everything but the required files.
iirc is
master.dat
critter.dat
patchXXXX.dat
sounds/
Now I can save the game.
