It will be easier to debug this if you can set up an example app that I can clone and run to see the error. I don't know what's adding that key to the insert doc. It should be expanded into the doc itself instead of added as a key.

I have one, https://github.com/jeanres/meteor-autoform-test you can start up the app and go to /admin/products and you will be able to replicate the bug.

Can you try this on the latest version? I believe your issue has been resolved, but I would like confirmation. If it is indeed closed, go ahead an close this issue. If not, please post a comment to that effect. Thanks.

@dpankros, I think I neglected to release your changes. Should I publish the current master branch as 3.0.0?

I guess the version number probably wasn’t incremented, so that would cause a problem for existing installs.

I’m not sure it needs a full version increment.  Maybe 2.1 or something (2.2 if you like the odd builds are development and even are release methodology).

BTW, do you have an objection to object _ids being stored in hidden text fields.  I’m thinking through the update files cases.

OK, latest is released as 2.1.0. @dpankros, I forgot to mention but there's a devel branch, so development in progress can be done there. Then we'll merge to master as necessary and publish the meteor release.
