Whenever you manually add something to smart.json, you have to do mrt update and meteor add cfs-autoform
Dragging files should already work. It works for me. It's possible it didn't work because of the way you copied the pkg files.
Once inserted, you're on your own. If you make updates or remove, you need to keep things in sync. I eventually want to support relationships in collection2, where joins and cascades and rollbacks would be automatic, but that is not anytime soon.

Indeed that was the issue! Added a pull request with the extra step, someone else may run into the problem. Drag and drop also started working after that.
