@edglynes , After some research, We found that NewJSONRequest from client-v1 will take body as struct instead of string. This was the reason for above error.

Otherwise, Below syntax actually works.

	req, _ := client.NewJSONRequest(config, "PUT", uri, body)
	resp, _ := client.Do(config, req)
