It's working in all of my environments, can you elaborate? Maybe a video to show us? (I doubt any logging will help here)
There's an "apply" button to click after selecting the color, I'm guessing you know wince highlighting has the same modal but asking just in case; are you using it?

My bad. I didn't notice the apply (tick) button at the bottom, I had to scroll. I just expected it to work after picking a color ;)
