Collaboration with polar-bookshelf about react-pdf-highlighter HOT 7 OPEN

@burtonator I'll be happy to collaborate on this too. I've been using a fork of this project in a web app I'm working on. I was interested on extracting highlights from a PDF. Example:

I think it'll make sense if we combine efforts to have this project as the base for everyone to use. But don't know how busy @agentcooper will be.

@mapreal19 Let me know if there is something that forces you to fork. We can add more options to control some of the behavior.

@burtonator would it make sense for you to get the basics in this project here first? In a way you could reuse this in your project. I don't have much time but I'll try to make improvements here, focusing first in text highlighting
