Props is ambiguous, could mean Properties or Propositions.
I tend not to abbreviate without need. I'd rather opt for .Properties.
You can always abbreviate upon import.

I agree.

Why did you close this? Isn't the suggestion to rename Data.Fin.Props (and Data.Fin.Subset.Props) to Properties?
from agda-stdlib.
My suggestion is now:
to replace the suffix "Props" with "Properties" in the module names like Data.Fin.Props, Data.Fin.Subset.Props

My last suggestion is to set there the suffix "Properties".

Can we add compatibility modules with the original names for a few releases? Then external code can slowly switch over.
from agda-stdlib.
The changes have not been released.
from agda-stdlib.
I'm not sure how much sense that makes, given that there's nothing telling people they ought to switch over.
from agda-stdlib.
People will notice when the (compatibility) modules are removed, however
having them for a limited amount of time will allow a single code base
to work with a few versions of the stdlib. This would be useful to me.

Yeah ok, that's fair. I propose that we keep the compatibility modules in the upcoming release and then remove them immediately after. Will you make the patch?
