Windows support / compability about aerospike-client-python HOT 9 CLOSED

Windows support is now published in version 14.2.0. Please let me know if it works for you and we can close this ticket

For now, we have switched to Linux... however, for our development environment, we will be able to test it in a later stage.

A while ago I got stuck on this ticket. Here were my personal notes while developing the changes:

Development update: I’m currently having issues with installing the built Python client on a fresh Windows machine. When installing with python3 -m pip install , it defaults to installing in a directory the user doesn’t have write access to.

The workaround is to use python3 -m pip install --user so it installs in a directory the user has access to, but importing aerospike in Python gives an ImportError.

This is the branch I was developing on. It's currently outdated however: #437

I am not sure what it means. Are you giving up the Aerospike client on Windows?
