π Hi there! I'm a Physics π graduate with a minor in Astronomy π from Universiti Sains Malaysia (University of Science Malaysia). My journey through the world of science and data has equipped me with a diverse skill set, ranging from proficiency in multiple programming languages to the intricacies of data analysis π¬ and data visualization π.
My passion for Physics extends beyond the classroom. I have actively contributed to scientific research, with my undergraduate thesis titled "A Probabilistic Batemanβs Equation Solver for Simulating Complex Nuclear Decay Chains." Currently, I am deeply engaged in ongoing research projects, focusing on cutting-edge topics such as exoplanet detection using machine learning techniques π and the intricate relationships among black hole mass, galactic mass, and bulge galactic mass.
My commitment to fostering STEM education is evident through my teaching experiences. I have served as a private home tutor, offering personalized, one-on-one science instruction to high school students π. I adapt my teaching approach to cater to individual student needs, closely monitor progress, and maintain open communication with parents to ensure the best learning outcomes. Additionally, I've gained valuable experience as an instructor and mentor in Penang, Malaysia π, guiding undergraduate students in their Physics coursework and facilitating group study sessions and workshops.
In addition to teaching, I have honed my technical and writing skills. I've taken on freelance writing tasks, specializing in creative and persuasive writing, business communication, and technical writing. My expertise in referencing styles and content paraphrasing allows me to excel in this domain.
My programming language proficiency includes Python π, Julia, MATLAB, Wolfram Mathematica, R, and a foundational knowledge of C and C++. I am well-versed in web development, database management, and various operating systems.
I'm a committed lifelong learner, continuously seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills. I've completed several autodidactic courses, covering diverse topics like teaching with technology, modern physics, thermodynamics, and data-driven astronomy.
Outside the academic realm, I've received recognition for my achievements. I've earned a spot on the Dean's List for outstanding academic performance and actively participated in prestigious events such as the Spelling Bee National Round and the Bangladesh Astro Olympiad National Round. I've also been involved in extracurricular activities, including stargazing, science outreach, and community engagement, as a member of the Astronomy Club and the Physical Science Society at Universiti Sains Malaysia.
I'm fluent in Bengali and English, with working proficiency in Hindi/Urdu and a basic understanding of German π.
With my comprehensive educational background, strong technical skills, and a passion for teaching and research, I'm dedicated to making a significant impact in the fields of physics and astronomy. I'm always open to engaging discussions and eager to share my insights and knowledge to contribute positively to our collective understanding of these captivating disciplines. Please feel free to reach out to me for any questions or discussions you may have β I'm here to assist and collaborate. π€
