In theory it should work, but I haven't tested it with Python3 yet. Issue #10 will add official support for it.
Which distribution are you using, and what method of installing Python3 did you use? (making sure I test various setups)

I'm using Arch Linux Arm. Python3 is installed with the usual package manager (pacman) and I created an AUR package for the latest bbio library from git (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/python2-bbio-git/). Let me know if you need any testing on this platform, I have several BBB's up and running with Arch.
