- Application in notified on keep alive timeout only when few trials failed. this is usually an indication for application that connection is not functioning well. application sohuld decide whether to call disconnect or not. if this is the normal behavior of the application. application can do one of the following
a. disable keep alive completely on both peers.
b. set new values for keep alive parameters
both can be done via xio_set_opt. - I think that in case, on_msg_error should be called which will return the message to application.
I will try to reproduce and fix it
from accelio.
