Alex Bzdel's Projects

bci-eeg-classification icon bci-eeg-classification

Using various classifiers to improve the performance of the research done by Wang, Li, et. al in 2011 regarding using EEG signals to detect confusion.

course icon course

The Hugging Face course on Transformers

databricks-cluster-cli icon databricks-cluster-cli

CLI built in Rust and Bash that allows you to provision custom clusters in Databricks using the Databricks REST API.

delta-rs icon delta-rs

A native Rust library for Delta Lake, with bindings into Python

hugging_face_aws_tutorial icon hugging_face_aws_tutorial

Zero to One: How to find pre-trained models on Hugging Face, host them on AWS SageMaker, and query them for your outputs.

machine-learning-serverless icon machine-learning-serverless

A linear model used to classify breast cancer instances using UCI'S breast cancer diagnostic data set. Model is trained using AWS Sagemaker and invoked using Amazon API Gateway and an AWS Lambda function.

ml_api_on_aws icon ml_api_on_aws

Continuous delivery of an API built on FastAPI and hosted on AWS.

ml_api_on_kubernetes icon ml_api_on_kubernetes

Utilizing assets from a previous project where I hosted a machine learning API on AWS. Now looking to host the same service on Kubnernetes.

nba_over_under_prediction_app icon nba_over_under_prediction_app

This repository contains an NBA over/under prediction app built with Python and Flask. The app uses machine learning to make predictions on the over/under bets for NBA games. The user can input information about a game and the app will provide a prediction on the over/under total.

nba_playoff_simulation icon nba_playoff_simulation

For this project, I use a multiple linear regression algorithm to predict the final NBA standings for 2020-21. I then use these standings to set up a simulation of the playoffs in Excel. Using Macros, you can simulate games thousands of times to see who has the greatest chance of winning based on standings.

opioid-analysis icon opioid-analysis

A look into the opioid epidemic and how various policies have impacted its trajectory in the United States.

pyleniumio icon pyleniumio

Bring the best of Selenium and Cypress into a single Python package

rainforest_image_analysis icon rainforest_image_analysis

Sampling and algorithmic analysis of rainforest drone videos. For Rainforest Engineering class at Duke University.

summarize-cli icon summarize-cli

CLI to deploy & query Hugging Face model to Amazon SageMaker

swing-trading-stock-bot icon swing-trading-stock-bot

A Python-based bot that uses the Alpaca API and swing trading principles to buy and sell securities.

tmdb-box-office-prediction icon tmdb-box-office-prediction

My 'Introduction to Machine Learning' course's final project - includes predictions on TMDb movie revenues using linear regression and XGBoost.
