I'm able to download http://areena.yle.fi/tv/1530187 with the latests git when I tested just now. Can you retest with the rtmpdump version included in http://users.tkk.fi/~aajanki/rtmpdump-yle/yle-dl-1.99.7.tar.gz? If that doesn't help, send me the results of yle-dl -V http://areena.yle.fi/tv/1530187.

I now seem to be having problems even with installing the git version. I'll try that "stable" version now.

What kind of error do you get when installing the git version?
Try running sudo /sbin/ldconfig after make install. It should fix the "librtmp.so.1: cannot open shared object file". (The git HEAD Makefile now runs ldconfig automatically.)
