I'm Muratcan. 22, M, Türkiye.
I learned how to read with the help of computers at the age of 4. I started getting interested in design and programming at the early age of 6, thanks to my mother, who had been reading HTML and ASP books, creating and monetizing her own website starting in 1999! I began creating concept designs and text-based games at the age of 9-10.
My dive into programming and doing it professionally started when I learned Construct Engine during my prep year in university. Within one year, I was already working at a software company, and with my boss/partner, we ended up founding Playumm, which is now an award-winning game studio. I left university because I didn’t think “Translation and Interpretation” was my dream career. I speak and write English at a native level anyway.
Within the next year, I worked hard to become a real expert in Construct. Moreover, I learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.JS, PHP, Express.JS, MongoDB, and many more programming languages and environments in less than two years. I became an expert at programming by watching online courses on YouTube and Udemy. At one moment, I knew I was going to code for the rest of my life. I love NodeJS, and backend development is my most comfortable area of expertise.
Nowadays, we’re working on Supeer.Teach, which is an expansion of the long-term project called Toonlands Metaverse, which is a massive gaming/finance ecosystem. My long-term goal is to keep designing and programming optimized, organized software and eventually lead my dream games. I have contributions to numerous open-source projects and have received invites from abroad. I'm considering accepting these offers in a few years if we don’t secure investment first and move abroad together with my current company, of which I am the CTO and Co-Founder. I also love programming for old game consoles and retro gaming.
