I have no idea since I never tried... And since I don't have a 4k monitor I can't really do much about this...

I'm using an ultra wide with 3440x1440 so I tried it but it stutters.
If someone could just try setting the 4k theme and confirm this?

I'm having occasional stutter even with the FHD videos, so I assume it's just an issue with Qt Multimedia and/or GStreamer and/or SDDM and/or Apple Servers. I don't think this is related to this theme since it's just passing a URL along.
If you want to play around with it you could download the videos and play them locally to see if it's a streaming issue (maybe intermittent low download speeds?). When I test downloaded a few videos a few days ago it seemed that Apples servers also aren't the best for this... for the 4K videos wget was showing speed anywhere between ~1MB/s and 8MB/s even though I can get 20MB/s+ on steam
